Why Cadence isn't on the Play Store

Short version: Google Play bans the exact features that make Cadence useful. So we give it to you directly: signed, verifiable, and safe. Here's the honest breakdown.

It's a Play policy thing, not a quality thing

Google Play does not allow apps that auto-dial through a contact list or read your call log unless the app is your phone's default dialer. Those two capabilities are Cadence: the power dialer, and your call history and analytics. Rather than gut the app to squeeze onto Play, we ship it to you directly as an Android app you install yourself.

Lots of legitimate Android apps are distributed this way for the same reason. A download from outside the Play Store isn't a red flag on its own. What matters is where you get it and whether it's properly signed. On both counts, Cadence is built to be checked.

Signed & tamper-checked

Every build is cryptographically signed with our private key. Android verifies each update is genuinely from us and blocks any tampered or fake copy from installing over it.
Play Protect still scans it

Even installed outside the store, Android's built-in Google Play Protect scans the app when you install it and keeps watching it. You don't give up that safety net by skipping the Play Store.

Only ever download Cadence from cadence-b9n.pages.dev. Never trust a "Cadence" APK from a random mirror or download site. If it didn't come from here, it isn't ours.

Privacy

We don't want your data.

Most sales tools quietly hoover up your contacts and conversations. Cadence does the opposite. Everything you do, from contacts and calls to outcomes, notes and charts, lives only on your phone. The one thing on our server is your email, so you can sign in, and whether your subscription is active. That's it.

Nothing is uploaded. Contacts, calls and notes are stored locally and never sent to us.

Which phones does it work on?

Cadence is an Android app. Install it directly from the APK we provide and you're ready to dial. No Play Store required.

Do you store my contacts?

No. Your contacts, calls, outcomes and notes stay entirely on your phone and are never uploaded. Our server only keeps your login email and subscription status.

How do I pay?

Cadence plans start at ₹499/month for Starter, with Pro at ₹799/month. Both are billed through Instamojo, and paying annually saves you about two months. Once your subscription is active, the app unlocks on your device.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There's no lock-in. Cancel whenever you like and you keep access until the end of the billing period.

Why isn't it on the Play Store?

Google Play bans apps that auto-dial through a list or read your call log unless they're your default phone app, and those are Cadence's core features.
