Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 July 2026
Cadence ("Cadence", "we", "us", "our") is a sales power-dialer and call-tracking app for Android. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Our core promise: we don't want your data. Your contacts and calls stay on your device. The only things that reach our servers are what we need to sign you in and confirm your subscription.
1. Who we are
Cadence is a product of Bitwiz, an independent developer based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. For any privacy question, contact bitwizbuilds@gmail.com.
2. What stays on your device (never uploaded)
The following is stored only on your phone and is never transmitted to us or any third party:
- Your imported contacts, names and phone numbers.
- Call outcomes, notes, tags, and callback reminders you add.
- Your device call history, which the app reads locally to build the in-app History and Analytics screens. We do not upload your call log.
- Your app settings and preferences.
If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is permanently gone from your device, and we retain no copy of it.
3. What we collect (the minimum to run the service)
Only two things leave your device, and only to operate the paid service:
- Your email address: used to sign you in with a one-time code and to associate your subscription with you.
- Your subscription status: a record of your plan and the date your access is valid until, so the app knows you've paid.
We also process a per-day dial count (a number only) to enforce your plan's daily limit. This is a usage counter. It contains no phone numbers, names, or call content.
If you choose to report a bug, we receive the message you type, an optional contact you provide, your app version, and basic device model/OS information, so we can reproduce and fix the issue.
We do not collect your name (beyond your email), your contacts, your call logs, your precise location, or advertising identifiers, and we do not run third-party analytics or ad SDKs.
4. Payments
Subscription payments are processed by Instamojo, a third-party payment provider. Your card, UPI, netbanking or bank details are entered on Instamojo's secure systems, and we never see or store them. We only receive confirmation from Instamojo that a payment succeeded, which extends your access. Instamojo's handling of your payment data is governed by Instamojo's own privacy policy.
5. Where your account data is stored
Account email and subscription/usage records are stored with Supabase, our backend provider, protected by row-level security so each account can only access its own record.
6. Device permissions and why we ask
- Phone / place calls: to dial numbers from your queue. Calls are placed on your device by Android's dialer; we never receive the numbers.
- Read call log: read locally to build your History and Analytics. Not uploaded.
- Notifications: to remind you of scheduled callbacks.
- Display over other apps / ignore battery optimisation: optional, so the dialer can continue in the background between calls.
You can grant or revoke these in Android Settings at any time. Denying call-log access simply disables the History/Analytics features.
7. How we use information
We use the limited data above only to: authenticate you, provide and enforce your subscription and daily limits, respond to bug reports and support, and keep the service secure. We do not sell, rent, or share your information for advertising.
8. Sharing
We share information only with the service providers required to run Cadence, Instamojo (payments) and Supabase (authentication and subscription records), and only to the extent necessary. We may disclose information if required by law.
9. Data retention
We keep your email and subscription record for as long as your account exists. Bug reports are kept only as long as needed to resolve them. On-device data is controlled entirely by you and is removed when you clear the app or uninstall.
10. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the account data we hold (your email and subscription record) by emailing bitwizbuilds@gmail.com. We will delete your account data on request; note that this ends your access to any active subscription.
11. Children
Cadence is a business tool intended for users 18 years or older and is not directed at children.
12. Security
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, row-level security, server-side secrets) to protect the limited data we hold. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
